Meet Your Provider

Katie is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a deep passion for helping people heal from the inside out. She has worked as a Nurse Practitioner since 2017 in both Family Practice and Pediatrics. Prior to her work as an ARNP, she worked five years as a nurse in the Medical ICU at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, giving her a vast array of experience in healthcare. She is also a certified personal trainer and has an online health and fitness coaching business, where she is dedicated to getting her clients to an optimal place in their health.

She loves forming a close patient-provider relationship, digging in, and getting to the root of the problem. Katie believes that the world we live in today makes it harder for people to be and stay healthy. However, does not believe it’s unattainable or impossible to achieve; rather we need to be more intentional. She is passionate that everyone is capable of living a healthy, abundant life, if given the right tools. 

Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys, often playing or adventuring outside. She loves Jesus, being active, learning new things, any and all games, and laughing until her cheeks hurt. Katie hopes whether she meets you in the clinic or out and about in the community, she leaves you feeling seen, encouraged, and more joyful.
